This was an open design competition between the freelance website Jovoto and Victorinox. The aim was to give a competition to the public to design a an illustration for the annual “Classic Limited Edition” Swiss army knife. This year’s theme was “Sports of the World!”, where each designer could submit an original illustration of any sport in the world or in history, and place it on the front and back of the classic 58mm Swiss army knife. for this competition I submitted three different proposals: the first being an illustration for Lacrosse, depicting its origins on one side and current gear on the other. the second depicts a rowing crew on one side and the oar on another. The third depicts an urban environment for the niche sport of parkour, with a person doing a flip on one side, and another person standing on the rooftop overlooking the city scape on the other.
